We periodically lead hikes at Sandy Lake Regional Park to showcase the the park and describe how much more nature conservation is possible in this incredible area.

Summer 2025 hikes
Saturday, June 21 - morning
Join the Ecology Action Centre as part of their Hike the Greenbelt series. Learn about the natural features of the park and the role of the area as part of a greenbelt through urban Halifax.
Saturday, July 5 - afternoon
Public hike at Sandy Lake Regional Park, capacity 30 participants.
Sunday, July 13 - morning
Public hike at Sandy Lake Regional Park, capacity 30 participants.
Wednesday, July 30 - evening
Public hike at Sandy Lake Regional Park, capacity 30 participants.
